In-depth academic, career and psycho-social history
Formal administration of standardized instruments measuring aptitude, achievement, personality, interests, learning styles.  Typically starts with a 3 hour testing session with a psychometrist especially training in administration of these tests including WAIS-IV, MMPI-2,, WJ-III, and other specific instruments.  If additional testing is necessary it will be determined after initial testing phase.
DATA ANALYSIS &  REPORT  WRITING
(3-5 hours)
Rarely, clients need additional testing to complete their evaluation and provide valid results.  Additional specialized instruments may be administered based on previous testing results.
The psychologist and learning specialist integrate the test data to provide a comprehensive report detailing strengths, weaknesses, diagnoses and recommendations.
The psychologist and/or learning specialist meets with you to review results and together we develop an individualize intervention plan.
ACADEMIC & CAREER COACHING
(30+ minute sessions as needed)
The assessment, diagnosis, and remediation of young adult and adult learning disorders can seem complicated and confusing.  This graph is to help you understand the steps involved in the process.  However, in order to be effective the process must be flexible to truly meet the unique needs of individual clients.

Our assessment process and instruments meet or exceed national standards for the evaluation of adult learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder.  However, we cannot guarantee acceptance of our conclusions by any institution of higher education.  We do work closely with institutions to help facilitate acceptance and appropriate accommodations.

The process is designed to not only provide you with a diagnosis, but to give you a thorough understanding of your strengths and weaknesses and other learning factors, leading to an Individual Learning Plan (I.L.P.)  We also work with you to implement your plan and can provide ongoing, individualized coaching to help you learn how to truly be successful in your academics and your career.
BASIC ASSESSMENT PACKAGE - $1,450.00

The basic assessment process includes Intake & Clinical Interview, Initial Formal Testing, Report Writing and  Results Session for a total of 8 hours of service.  CORE offers a 25% discount for currently enrolled, active students, in higher education.

EXTENDED ASSESSMENT PACKAGE - $135.00 per hour

Rarely,additional testing is necessary to get a fuller understanding of the learning difficulties. If necessary, and with your consent, additionally testing can be conducted and is billed at our standard rate of  $135.00.

CONSULTATION AND/OR COACHING PACKAGE - $50 -$135.00
per session

Sometimes, clients already have their testing, but don't really understand it.  You meet with the psychologist to help you really understand it and develop an effective, individualized plan based on that testing.

Also, some clients simply benefit from the ongoing support that coaching provides.  Please call to determine pricing for this service.

50% of a fees are due at the start of the assessment process unless previous arrangements have been made. You will not receive a final report, or other services, until the fee is paid in full.  We accept checks or credit cards in our office or credit cards through Paypal on our website. Upon completion and full payment,  you will receive a statement to submit to your insurance company  however, you are responsible for the entire fee.   Most insurance companies do not pay for psycho-educational testing so you may want to contact your insurance carrier before beginning this process to get pre-approval.
