Michael J. Daine, Ph.D. is a Jungian Psychologist  licensed  in Colorado (#3231).   Dr. Daine received his professional Counseling Psychology doctorate from the University of Houston's APA approved program which included specialized training in psychopathology at Baylor Hospital, Houston Texs.  He has over 17 years of international leadership and faculty experience in counseling, psychology, and health services in higher education (Colorado State University, Sonoma State University, St. George's University and Medical School, Clemson University, The Citadel, The College of Charleston, and the University of Houston).  Outside of academia, Dr. Daine has provided and directed, clinical services in in-patient substance abuse and psychiatric hospitals, out-patient mental health centers, and private practice.  He is a past board member of the Larimer Center for Mental Health and Island Grove Treatment Center.   His current specialities include addictions, analytical psychotherapy, psychological assessment, LD/ADHD evaluations, as well as other psychological and mental health evaluations.  Dr. Daine has had years of post-doctoral training in a variety of areas including two years of advanced training in psychopharmacology.  He is past Assistant Director of the C.G. Jung Center of Houston and actively involved in Jungian communities. Dr. Daine also has a radio show on 88.9 FM Fort Collins, COMMUNICATION MATTERS, focusing on the psychology of adulthood.
Karen L.Daine, M.Ed. is an Learning Specialist with CORE.  Karen received her masters degree in Counseling from the University of Houston.  She has years of experience as a therapist, substance abuse counselor, and academic skills specialist.  She has helped students achieve their academic goals in a variety of settings including undergraduate and graduate institutions, medical schools, and community colleges.  Karen is especially passionate about helping adult students with learning disabilities and attention-deficit disorder realize their academic and career potentials.  As a independent  consultant, she provides academic coaching, study skills, and test preparation.  Additionally, she is an academic advisor at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins.
